I have 3 silkies from day old and they all were acting fine and very energetic. 2 days ago i got a 5 week old silkie and introduced it to the others and kept it in the brooder w them. Yesterday they were all in a 8'x8' pen outside for a few hours and everything seemed fine. They all seemed fine until this morning... One of my original silkies is not very energetic and isn't eating or drinking very much, it seems very tired. I tried giving it some electrolytes and seems to be perking it up some but not like the other chicks. I removed it this morning and am keeping it in a container by itself. Any idea what this could be?

Welcome to the site!
Out of the 100+ things that can afflict chickens, no, I have no idea what it could be.
I guess you didn't quarantine the new bird/s.

Not really, i wasn't aware i had too.. i let them all meet in a neutral area and they all seemed to get along.. is there anything i can do other than giving it electrolytes and force feeding it some yogurt?

Oh i didn't include that the 3 chicks that i had are 3 weeks old and the one single one i added was 5 weeks. Wasn't sure if maybe there was something going on with bullying, and what i could do to fix this. I am aware that they develop a pecking order but if the new one and the little one were both male could there have been bullying and not allowing the other one to eat or drink?

I moved the older chick to its own box, and i gave the sick chick a home made electrolyte drink every 20 minutes forcing it to drink as well as giving it some greek yogurt. It seems to have made a huge difference and is eating and drinking on its own It is still a little slow but hopefully it just takes time!
