One of my 3 week old chicks is very congested sounding and sneezing. I’m thinking it is due to poor ventilation. The chicks are in a small bathroom and I’ve had the window closed because it’s been cold old (below freezing at night). I changed out all of their pine shavings yesterday and today she is rattling and sneezing and sounds like a human with a head cold and nasal congestion. Is there anything I can do for her?

I hear the congestion. It sounds like it’s in the nose and then sneezing. They’re alert, eating, drinking, “foraging”, napping, all the normal stuff and no other physical symptoms on the birds that I can see or hear.

pine shavings is the bedding. I’ve kept the window cracked, except for overnight cause it’s been cold.

A family owned farm & garden center that focuses primarily on chickens. They get them shipped in from two different hatcheries.
