3 weeks old any guesses on which are hens and roos

These are my chicks from mpc they are a little over 3 weeks old now and wanted to see what every body thought on which are roos and hens. here they are.

They are pretty young; is that nubs on the leg of the SLW?

and what does BLH mean?

Clyde does look like a male

if you could take a pic of the ameraucana 's comb straight on that would help

I think the Orpington is a female

They are really cute all of them

I honestly thought I had ALL roos for a long time since all of mine had little nubs I just KNEW were going to be spurs. Only 2 of 9 were.

Oh, and if the Brown Leghorns are like the white, one of my girls had a comb that big at that age. But, I am no good at guessing gender.​

I agree with your guesses, with exception that Bonnie may actually be Buddy. But, I'm ONLY guessing myself. Perhaps SpeckledHen will come around and give her opinions. She's great at sexing young'uns.



Edited to add: It's my understanding that nubs on the legs of chicks don't necessarily mean they'll be spurs on a rooster. I've had a couple hens that have had spurs.
