Tonight at dinner, we heard all this noise in the brooder n the corner, and lo and behold, one of RIR's popped up and sat on the edge. I said, OHNOYOUDIDNOT!!!! We put wire on the top. How long can they stay in the box without getting frustrated???

Mine lasted 5 1/2 weeks. When it got so bad I couldn't stand them all staring at me lined up on the rim of the brooder I moved them to their outdoor coop.

Now I feel guilty whenever I go out there. They all come running out of their house and into the run to see me. They just stand there expectantly.

Maybe they want to come back inside.
