3 WK Old Ducklings Outdoors In Rain

My ducklings will be 3 weeks come Monday. I keep them inside at night but during the day they have a puppy playpen, tin cake pan bath and plastic tote with straw outdoors. My question is-they are still pretty fuzzy without feathers and it will be raining/storming here with a high of 72-77 all day long. Do I keep them cooped up and unhappy but dry indoors or let them out in the pen all covered with a tarp and a little tote filled with straw? The grass will be wet. Should I put down straw to walk on or will this damp just make them sick? If I leave them out in the 60s in the evening they tend to sniffle and sneeze a bit for a few hours. They tend to act cold if temps dip anywhere in the low 70s, huddle together and stop playing. But it will rain ALL DAY.

You could put them out for an hour at a time to play and back inside to warm up and rest?....That's what I do....

That never crossed my mind lol thank you! When my boys nap I will take the ducklings out for an hour then under the warmer to dry!
