Yesterday I noticed she was walking funny, and when I looked she had poop all dried to her butt. So we soaked her and got that off but today he is still walking slowly, legs are far apart and I would call it a waddle, even for a chicken. Her butt area did look swollen yesterday but I thought maybe it was from the irritation of the poop as it was very painful. Any ideas what could be making her walk like this?

Sounds like classic signs of egg binding. Are you familiar with the condition and the treatment options?

I think you are right. However later that day she did lay an egg but not since. Today I go out and she is stuffed up in a corner of the run barely moving, I thought she was dead already. Her abdomen is insanely swollen, she's not eating or drinking. She's soaking in a warm tub now not giving me an ounce of trouble I did an exam but could not feel an egg that could be stuck. She took 2 bites of food with some tums in it but I couldn't get her to eat more. I pray this helps her but she looks terrible.

Could it be too late? Could those symptoms be something else?
