3 year old hen has never laid an egg...

Hi all, it's been many many years since I've logged in and am quite ashamed of myself!


Anyways, I was just curious if it's somewhat common for a hen to never lay an egg? She's a 3yr old (maybe closer to 4) Turken and I've had her since a tiny chick. Never been sick or injured. She's a major free loader.... loves to eat but never pays me in return... lol

Wow, only 27 posts in 8 years!
I have a 2 yr. old hen who has never laid an egg. Or if she has, I haven't seen it. She's a little D'Uccle, lowest in the pecking order, also raised from a tiny chick. Others recently have reported similar cases....

lol I know! What is wrong with me??

Ok, well I feel better knowing she's not alone. Sure wish she would lay tho, I have her cooped with a super cute (but very much a JERK) frizzle and hoping for babies. Darn it
