3 year old Rooster - curious of breed

I was looking back in my photos and I managed to find the photo I took of the post the seller had when she was selling him as a chick. She had labelled them as BBS Ameraucana. But his face isn’t fluffy…
It is sometimes possible for two chickens with fluffy faces (muff/beard) to produce a chick without that trait.

I would probably call him a poor-quality Splash Ameraucana (the "poor quality" because he does not have the muff & beard that breed is supposed to have. I'm not very good at recognizing which body shapes go with which breeds, so I can't say whether his is good or bad for the Ameraucana breed.)

Or you could call him an Easter Egger, which is a catch-all term for chickens that lay blue or green eggs but do not have the right traits for any pure breed. (Or roosters that have the genes for blue or green eggs, because obviously roosters do not actually lay eggs.)

That makes sense! Thank you for responding! 😊
