Did you look up buckeyes? Yes, a little like acorns but they are named after the buckeyes from the buckeye tree. But unlike the buckeye nut, they are not poisonous to humans(unless you eat my mother in laws ones. Then it's every man for himself)

I have not but they are delicious! I should try them this year. My mom has a recipe for homemade Reese Cups, I bet it's similar. Do you have a good recipe for buckeyes @muddy75 ?
