These hens are being cared for by an animal farm sanctuary in Ravenna Ohio. They are in pretty good shape and laying daily! They just need some TLC.

There are still some of the Turlock hens available. They are at Happy Trails farm in Ravenna. Check out their website, search under adopt/sponsor- go to "feathered friends" then scroll all the way to bottom (lots of roosters in between). You should watch the Turlock video- but have kleenex handy. Website says 5.00 adoption fee. I believe the o.p. of this thread got the original 30 from Happy Trails when they had just arrived from Ca. Those have probably been placed as they were free, would still be awesome to help the rescue out as we all know you can't feed a hen for a year and a half on $5.00!
