I never combed my silkies, but I have bathed and blowdried them before.

I think the people that show them may brush them, though, I'm not positive.

They are naturally fluffy. No combing required.

Silkies are kinda cute with all that puff-I think they grow on you

My cochins like to be blow dried too!

Looks like my old girl who passed away last yr

. I never used a comb for them. they just poof out like thay naturally. I am going to buy white silkie eggs again so I can have another little girl like that

Yep, they're naturally that poofy, and get even more so after bathing and being blow dried

When wet, they look like wet mops. When dry, they are poof balls! No combing required either. They dont get snarles and snags like humans get but they do get dirty on behinds and feet but nothing like a good gentle washing would take care of it.
