Our eldest girl, Becky, (a Buff Orpington) turned 32 weeks today and has yet to lay an egg. She doesn't even look like she's anywhere near laying... Sigh. Our next oldest girl, is 25 weeks (another BO) and looks about the same as our older girl. No squatting or anything like that from either of them. And they're not hiding the eggs anywhere - trust me, I've looked...

At this point, is it even realistic to think that we'll get eggs before the spring?

Manna all flock, 16% with oyster shells and grit on the side (our youngest girls are about 12 weeks). They haven't touch the oyster shells.

I've only had one BO, but she was a late layer. I can't remember the exact age.
The length of day affects start of laying. The days are finally very slowly increasing in length, so chances of getting eggs will increase, although you may have to wait till spring.
