36 hours after pipping and no progress Help!

I need help. I don't know when to worry. The first eggs pipped Friday evening and now it is Sunday morning and still none have made any progress on their own.

Here is some background

This is my first hatch. We are trying to hatch Butler Bobwhite's that we had shipped to us. We are using a LG bator and I added a pc fan to it I also used the LG turner until day 21. I took the eggs out of the turner an put them in cartons to hatch. i have bumped up the humidity to 80% - 85%. They were set the evening of March 12.

I don't know when to help. So far I have helped 4 of the 85 developed eggs. 2 seem like they are going to do alright. I think I drowned/smothered 1 that I wrapped in a warm damp paper towel. and the other I think I helped a little too much too soon. I saw some bright red blood so I stopped and put him back in the bator.

All of the eggs I helped still had a little bit of yolk that wasn't absorbed. Am I helping too soon? I'm just so worried that they are stuck some pipped 36 hours ago and haven't done anything since.

Hi, Your humidity is probably way to high, we keep ours around 65% at hatch time, I would not help them at this point, give them more time to absorb there yolk sacs

what was your hum during the incubation time before adding water before the hatch??

i like to keep it around 40-45% during the incubation period..

Everything I read said to keep it around 60%. I did my best but it did drop to 45. Most of the time the time it was between 55 and 60.

sounds like they are not ready yet or that the humidity was too high thru the incubator process ??? If they have not sucked up th yolk they are not ready,give 'em some more time.

This is were it can get get tricky when incubating at a higher level of humidity, i can tell you this, some who incubate at like 65% may never need to add water at the end for the hatch as there should be enough moister left in the egg for a fairly good hatch.

were they shipped eggs??

did you candle them before setting, if they were shipped eggs to determine egg freshness or any damaged air sacks in them..

I candled at day sevan and removed any that were not devoloping. I candled again when I took them out of the turner and only put the developed ones in the egg cartons.

Ok so I guess I'm not that patient. I've helped another six or so out and they seem to be doing ok(resting & drying off) They too had a small amountof yolk still t be absorbed. The first two are now in the brooder. Should I still be waiting. Some of these eggs pipped 48 hours ago.

I still have 70 or so developed eggs most have pipped.
