Is it normal for my auto incubator to have 37c for it's temp on the first day? I have 24 chicken eggs in the incubator. I read that the temp needs to be 99.5 for chicken eggs. Humidity is 53

Do the temp go up over time or do I need to do something to make it go up?

If you are using celcius temps and you are using a forced air incubator you want the temps to be 37.5C or 99.5F. If you are using a still air incubator you want the temps to be 38.3-38.8Celcius taken near the tops of the eggs which is 101-102F

Humidity, I prefer 30% and I check my air cells for adjusting using this method: http://letsraisechickens.weebly.com...anuals-understanding-and-controlling-humidity

Its got a fan running at 37.5 C and humidity 50. So everything is working fine.

I had the incubator on top of my mum's tumble dryer but had to move it at, as my mum use the tumble dryer with out thing about that the incubator was here and the alarm when off from the incubator on the 2nd day.
Would the tumble dryer break the yolks in the eggs ?
