How nice , I can't wait for my Orp to go broody again next year and hatch out somemore. As you could see by the pics i put on, she is still raising two

Mind im not sure she will survive this year, at the end of a year a stoat comes and takes a hen or two lasy year it got my 2 broodys!, If it gets this Orp i will be soo mad, shes only been here since april and shes nearly the top hen!, mind i feel sorry for the hens below her they get it rough with her, she wont just give them a peck the will flap at them rip there feathers out and chase them. Maybe its her way of pay back!!, I don't want a repeat of this year though, rather the chick fell out the nest or she took it out, but either way she left 4 eggs with fully grown chicks in exposed so they didn't hatch.

Well tonight the orp was in the nest box, with a chick under each wing and three eggs under her. As much as i love her i am absalutley sick of her bullying. My ex batt babs who is 6 year old walked past her and the orp was standing pecking her so babs like did a submition to her (like hens do for roosters to mate) and the orp jamp on top of her and babs squaked and then the orp got on the grabbed a hold of feathers on her back and she flapped and pushed back and ripped them out!!, shes so mean!!
