I have a new breed of hen i want, i want a couple of OEGB they seem like they would really suit my flock. Because i like myne to go broody and be able to escape predetors by flying into trees. Wont be till 2014 i get them though. Gold tops and another Cream Legbar are 2013's hens.

OEGB's are so much fun. I love those chickens! They are so freindly and bright, and beautiful!

PEEP!, im starting to get out off a incubator again!!, i keep thinking the chicks will stay up peeping all night, will they??

No, not if they're happy. If they're warm and not hungry or thirsty they will be quiet. For they first few days all they do is sleep.

if i leave them with a constanst supply of food and water if they are hungry through the night will they just help them selfs instead of peeping??
