Hi, i went to my hens today to find there had been an attack, Melow and my ex batt flora were missing, i found flora dead with a big bite and i followed a trail of feathers to find Melow and the feathers just cut off and i searched for two hours and couldn't find her, will look again tomorrow, i hope shes alive, i love her! at first i thaught it was the two chick coz mama came up the field alone but it wasnt, it was little Melow and flora! hope i find her, she was a good mama to them two chicks! :'(

Awww I'm so sorry Johnn!

I know how you feel!! We are down to 22 chickens now!! We used to have 26...
Oh and I think one of my chickens have bumblefoot... I need help.

<3CF, Ebony has bumblefoot too! Let's be bumblefoot buddies! I need to give her some more surgery.
Here's a thread I made a while ago. The silkies' bumblefoot has gone away but Ebony's came back. There's a lot of information in that thread. Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to answer them.

It does help!! Ugh... Creamy has it!! I'm gonna have to treat him right away.. the thing is... I won't be able to till Sunday!!!! So if it's big bumblefoot... I have to dig in the bumble... Oy. It's also hard because it has been raining for a couple days now...
