Well if you og on the pictures and stories of my hen section then look for my topic called "ahhhhh ive rescued some battery hens" it should be on the first page of the section then when you find it skip to the back page and read

Where are you keeping them that they might not be able to get inside?

they can get inside they just might not know how to

You haven't had them very long, why did you let them go outside? It takes at least a week for them to figure out where home is.

Well i usually let my hens out on the first day and they no were home is there would be no big deal if they wernt battery hens then i wouldnt worry at all

Well, they are battery hens who have never been outside in the whole lives.

im not thick i know that considering i have rescued them for 3 years and all they take is two days in the shed like what them one got but these one seem a lot more unsure then previous ones, i once had one that took six month to learn how to get out the shed

You've had them for only 4 days, if they went outside, I'd say there is a prety good chance they didn't go back in. But maybe they never left the shed.
