My first two days back were npt very good, they were rather tiering. I'm glad its the week end now, I woke up at 1 on the afternoon today, what a waste of a day then I went and fed the hens which weren't even hungry. I got really bad exam results too

2 of my hens were sleeping in the trees tonight, when i went to give them some bread most of the came out the shed the one came flying out the top branch of a tree!! dont know how she didnt brak her legs! summer is nearly over so she will have to go back in the shed for the cold although i like it when they are in the tree so it is harder for predetors to find them, did your eggs every come in the end chickenpeep??

Yes, my eggs did end up coming. I'm pretty sure she waited to send them because she wanted to wait to collect more eggs. She sent me 13!

But, only 4 were hatchable because of all the rough handling. You'd think the mail people would at least read the "FRAGILE, HATCHING EGGS" written all over the box!

I just candled them and only 1 has developed. It's on day 7 and I could see movement!
Although we only have one developing, I'm still hoping and praying it will hatch!

Oh and by the way, I love that picture!
