Just curious. Thought I saw it posted here before. Is there easy to use software that you can use to do a mock up of a building?

I've heard Sketchup is pretty good; I've found it graphically pleasing and easy to use, but I've only used it to design things to 3D print, not actual building projects. Still, I've heard from some other forum members who've used it to design their coops, and it works pretty well. As an added bonus, it's free :)

My Hubby Bob uses SketchUp . He really likes it .

Yes, Sketchup. I've used to draw up many projects including my 800 sq. Ft. house. It's fairly intuitive for most people familiar with similar software. One you get it figured out its great. Plus there is access to the 3D Warehouse, where people share their models and you can download components to use in your models, etc.
