Hi everybody, If you're familiar with it or not, 3D printing can be very complimentary to chicken keeping. Many common items, such as watering nipples, can be 3D printed and many of the designs are free. If you're just in it for the cool figurines, there are actually some pretty nice ones available (see the pic below). We could use more fantasy chicken warrior figurines (I'm looking at you artists), but there's plenty available right now. Post your designs, questions, etc.

Has anyone ever done a 3D scan on their chicken and printed it out later? I'd love to see that!

Sorry, thought that posted

Hey @Jester57 I'm super sorry I never saw this thread!

I'm a HUGE fan of 3D printing (in fact, my very first forum years before I owned BYC has a 3D printing section: https://www.printerknowledge.com/forums/#3d-printers-3d-printing.27 ).

I've printed all kinds of stuff for my flock, including parts I've designed in OnShape for an adapter to go from a feeder storage box into a 4" PVC feeder:

... and this week I'm printing strainers for sprouting seeds:

Yup, I LOVE LOVE LOVE 3D printing!
