3day old SS I just got today from Cackle

We have SS, and the way we knew our roo was a roo was because:
1) his feet were HUGE
2) he was a lot redder than all the others
3) he started making noises the others weren't at about 2-3 weeks old
Feather development is only reliable once all their feathers are in, then you can see what shape the feathers have taken.

Nice to here all are healthy. If you REALLY want to know the answers to your questions band the legs of the suspected roos and watch to see how it turns out. If you don't band and have no way to distinquish now everything will tend to blur as to who was who and what was what. Not telling you that you have to, just curious myself. I hope they all turn out to be girls for ya.

I'm keeping only 4 for me and others have to go to new home.
So it's so hard to find out...
I have a few favorites chicks so I'm going to keep them but don't know if I should keep bigger wings with tails or smaller wings with no tails...

I was looking their feet but I really can't tell if some of them have huge feet...
Time is moving sooooo sloooooooww. I want to know NOW
