That's a cockerel, not a pullet.

Those are pretty big/red comb and wattles, I believe it’s a cockerel.
By the way, he isn’t a Buff Orpington, maybe a red sex-link?

Just googled Red sex link and her feathers are spot on. I have a black sex link and a barred rock (definitely females) with the same size/color combs. Also, a male red sex link would be white.

You are correct about the male RSL, my mistake.

I have no idea what breed he is, but not BO which are solid yellow birds.

Her mom had thin neck feathering too. It seems to be genetic from all the hens I got from that person.
