I can promise I set 36 of Mahonri's eggs.

Happy Monday to the rest of the hatchers... 20 days to go
No idea where Daisy Chick is so... here's our day count:

And since DaisyChick didn't show up today who wants to post the countdown to chickies?
I can unless someone else has already volunteered and I just didn't see the post yet.
I just realized I have 18 eggs due tomorrow, so I'll be able to squish some of these into the rcom. That's a good thing! I love the way that thing needs no supervision at all, ever.
Quote:36+42=78...so Mahonri still has 20ish eggs in his possession?
I suppose it doesn't matter. For the purposes of this contest, we'll say he has ~95 TOTAL, and people need to guess how many will hatch of the 95. They also need to guess the first three breeds to pop out.
Knowing Mahonri, he might have found a way to wedge a 40 or 60 into his bator. 20 just sounds like too small a number for him to handle
Quote:Quote:I thought it was 95 (Mahonri) + 36 (Laree) and 36 (Meg) for 167 total, and my guess reflects that total. The "Meg will get that many tomorrow" confused me.

Quote:That's an impressive load of eggs! Best wishes for your hatch. Question tho, is that tube coming out of the bator for adding water without opening the bator?
It is. Not so important at this stage, but it also keeps the eggs dry when I fill it. I use a 20cc syringe and flexible tubing. I'll add another at lock down for the other reservoir.
Quote: I was just about to post about it when I saw this... I was about to say, if he has 167 hatch out of 95 eggs, I want to know how many double yolkers he has and how long it took to help them all hatch!!!
