I did not do a real candle, but since I was locking down Pastrymama's silkie eggs, I ended up candling most of the Icelandics.
2- of pastrymama's eggs died ~day 12.
Almost all of the extra-large icelandic eggs were infertile, and I think I have about 15 left. The fart-egg had no yolk.
OF MAHONRI'S EGGS: I didn't candle them. They are all colored and I would have had a hard time, and left the bator open too long.
...buuuuuut: I did to a quick top-egg flashlight candle of the 6 swedish flower eggs, and they all seem to be developing nicely.
