Ok Hatchaholics, I got a new iPad for Christmas and can barely pry myself away from Angry Birds to check in here

Just 6 days left to go... which means 3 days till lockdown

Well I set up a large cardboard box in the Laree brooder. Set up my heat lamp and my Ecoglow 20. I've got the feeder and the waterer in the dishwasher so they'll be ready to go once the little ones start hatching. I'm also making my own chick feed from gamebird finisher in my Montel blender. (DW was NOT happy about that) too bad.

Guess the ones that guessed SFH as one of the first breeds out will be lucky if they get the total #s of chicks right first.

Laree, did I also give you some Icelandics? I don't remember two weeks ago is too long.

Went up the mountain today and I'm not in severe pain. WAHOO!

I'm truly getting excited for this hatch!!! But I'm still feeling badly for our wonderful Sheriff.

I gave some of these to the neighbor to hatch out a while ago, and they are SO STINKING ADORABLE. One is obviously from the Icelandic hen in that pen, but the others are a charcoal/dun color. 1 is frizzled, 1 is silkied and sorta frizzled, and the other is just silkied. OMG I wanted to put the 8 I collected for you in the incubator. But I was strong...for now.
