3rd Annual New Year's Day Hatch!!

Quote:
We've got 17 barnyard mixes from our own flock, and then we bought a variety pack that included 2 each of Ancona, BA, BCM, Blue Hamburg, Brown Leghorn, Ameracauna, Golden Lakenvelder, GLW, Light Brahma, Pumpkin Hulsey, Silver Lakenvelder, and Silver Spangled Hamburg. Was hoping for a really good mix of chicks, but we'll see.

Woow what a lovely assortment

Ok- I haven't caught up yet, but I just HAVE TO SHARE:

The Sales Manager called all 6 of his supervisors into his cubicle "office" you know, the ones that are 8 feet tall, with the doors? Anywhoo, he starts telling them they need to fire the poor performers, even though they've only been here a week. There are protests, arguements, blah blah blah.

They finally settle on canning 2 instead of the original 10 poor performers....

...and apon ending the meeting, realized the crappy cubie door is BROKEN and LOCKED SHUT.

...

7+ adults in a tiny cubicle, stuck, and unable to escape, after a Mexican lunch.

The one female supervisor attempted to climb over the top---but the whole structure threatened to collapse.

I got to watch the whole thing through the glass panel the Sales Manager just HAD to have put in, so he could watch me work.

Karma, she's a mean momma.

Mine is the one on the left. Note the broken cube on the right, with the missing door knob.
