For my colorful rooster entry:

This is Pistol. He's hanging with his flock and not really into getting his picture taken.

He's an EE and the most colorful bird I have, if you don't count the blue and lavender birds.

MIchelle- I went to collect eggies, and put them all in my shirt. Then I went into the silkie pen..hmmm...I am missing a silkie.

Sure enough, the dirty hoser is sitting on eggs! She must of heard you talk about chicks.

So I took her eggs, and was trying to leave when she tripped me. I lost one silkie egg and ~7 regular eggs out of my shirt.

The incubator is right next to me, so I can hear them chirping. It is making it hard not to stare in there, since I am supposed to be working from home, not staring at eggs.

Her are some of mine....they are cold and complaining and would not stay still.

And 1 of my older chicks, looking rooish

and a few in the background. They won't stay still either.

Three more pips...but RU ROH....I can't tell if these white ones are Mahonri's white ones. For all I know they could be the Icelandics Sherriff sent me, pulling their "Hatch on Day 18" malarky.

Mahonri may be going home with extra chicks.
