3rd Annual NYD Hatch "Designer" Egg Swap Thread

Until the 20th (because I need time to sort out what's going where) and I wasn't sure if there was going to be any swapping of things that hatched in 28 days instead of 21. So far almost all the offerings are chickens (and all can be) - if they continue to be I can extend the join by date.

I've been eyeballing my roo all day - a few minutes ago I saw him make a move for one of my EE's ... she said no but that's a great sign!

I will offer, for now, one batch of 6 eggs.

I have a mixed flock of pet chickens. My hens are EE, Seabright cross, Black Cochin, and Possibly Cubalaya. My roos are, OEGB (both black tailed white and black breasted red) and Birchen Cochin.

I am fine with receiving any breed or species of anything. Even quail, ducks, or any other. I will even take guineas and turkeys because it's an adventure.

Now, nobody write the breed of the chicken on the eggs, so that it is really a mystery hatch.

I volunteer to take any batches of Naked Necks or Showgirls so that no one who is afraid of them will get them.

i am in perfect favor of having a barnyard filled with half naked chickens!

I'm in but my eggs have to go to the POBox I don't get mail at my house....I have all large fowl pure to swap; Marans, Partridge Rocks, New Hampshires Delawares and turkeys maybe so 2, 6 packs for me too.

I have sent eggs to PO boxes before....I didn't hear of any problems.

Hi,
I would love to try this. I have never shipped eggs nor have I received any. I feel this could, not only be fun, but educational. Anyway, I can offer 2 - 6 packs of lovely designer mutts. All of them will be very large and mostly feathered legged. The majority will be black and white, some white with black, and a small percent will be all black plus two other color variants. Thanks
