3rd Annual NYD Hatch "Designer" Egg Swap Thread

You're really on fire tonight SCG! ... only hurts a bit...

We'd be dangerous together in Australia, our sarcastic wit may cause the first US-Australia War.

I'm sorry... my filter needs a smaller sieve.

Guess I'd better go try and get at least a few hours of sleep... hopefully haven't offended anyone critically tonight.

And anderson, I am totally down with Australia. Lets do it. The visiting, not the war.

Just toss the marker somewhere between Orange Cove and the 180 in a eastern type direction. (somewhere in the foothills -- I'll let you know if you get it too close to reality

I had ordered LF Light Brahmas eggs from Bigdawg, I had missed my light Brahmas that I had to have some again.

Thank you 9Catsz and Lotsapaints for great packing!! None of the eggs got broken, and the boxes came in a great shape.

9Catsz- The eggs reminds me of silkie eggs, am I right?

I rather know what the eggs are now, then to get a shock of my life when they hatch.

LOL...yeah you're gonna be surprised when those slither out of their eggs.....Did ya'll know that, just like chickens, snakes have a teeny tiny egg tooth on the tip of their snouts so they can pip? In snake-eze it's not called a pip, it's called a slit....because that's exactly what it looks like a slit in the egg. The egg tooth falls off soon after hatching, just like in chickens.

Silkies are correct....I sent you silkie eggs which also could be showgirls, and 1 or 2 pure blue splash wyandotte bantams, and 1 or 2 which are silver penciled cochin x blue splash wyandotte bantam. .... I've got some of the silver pencil x wyandotte that will hatch next week. I can't wait to see what those turn out to be.

Here's pic of my wyandotte bantys...I love these guys/gals....You can practically sex them at 3 weeks of age.....I've found that the ones with the most splash-y markings as chicks are the roos.
Extra Roos that I ended up selling because these things fight anything....and they're smaller than silkies.

The unmarked cream colored egg is from my molted Java hen. The Javas free range, so may or may not be pure. I will

you don't get any NNs.

Honestly, I have been sending the EE & OE eggs all over and I don't think anyone hatched a NN yet. But I do.... regularly.

They sure are cute.

Rumor has it that there are eggs at the Panama City, Florida Post Office this morning.

I have at least 3 boxes of eggs at my PO. NYD Swap eggs, Hot2Pot eggs, and Tazcat eggs. Still waiting on my Luckypickens eggs and my second swap eggs.
