3rd Annual Rocky Mountain Chickenstock May 3rd, 2014

I have a friend that is looking for some California Valley Quail chicks. Will anyone have them available tomorrow? Just looking for a price, etc. Would appreciate any feedback:} Thanks

Sphinx, how can you tell the sex of those FBCM's so young, did you learn how to sex them?

I am a fairly decent hand at feather sexing FBCM, but these guys were hatched at a preschool, and are now 4-5 days old, which is almost too late to tell for sure. When I was talking about the 4 hens and a rooster, I meant my breeding stock, not the babies. Sorry for the confusion.

You got me curious though, so I tried sexing them to see what I thought. If I was to guess, I'd say half and half, but there was only one definite roo and one definite pullet. I have better luck when they're 24-48 hours old.

OFFICAL UPDATE:

i only have 2 blue andalusians left now,

1-welsummer bantams up with me

possibly 3 gold seabrites as well

i will only have 2 silver lace polish left, and it will be coming with me as well

there is i think 2 Crevicor's left and 4-5 MOttled Houden's

 2 buff cochins

Still will also be bring 4-1 month old Gosslins, 2 White Chinese and 2 Toulouse

And i do believe i have 1 Silver lace Wyondotte Bantam left if i'm not mistaking it for something else

Really enjoyed the trip over to Idaho Falls today! stopped at Craters of the Moon to explore for a few hours. Seramas must not have been too traumatized, my son's hen laid an egg!

Will be happy to see everyone on Saturday!

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to toss out a feeler to see if there is any interest in some Orpingtons before I load them up and bring them to town.  :)
First, I have some Chocolate Bantam Orpingtons, that I could bring.  A couple pairs that are a few months old, as well as a few that would be sold straight run, as they are anywhere from one month to a couple weeks old.
If there is any interest I also have some Jubilee chicks, some Red chicks, and a couple Partridge roos available.  All the Orps are 4 months old or younger.  If anyone is interested just let me know. thanks

Please save the ones for me we were messaging about. I'd dearly appreciate it.
