i have just got in to ckickens recently owned some for over two years but only realy started 9mths ago.
so i got my first D'uccle 7mths ago and as it was the only one to hatch so the breeder gave me a RIR comanion chick of
the same age, both are roosters now my problem is i got three 2.5 - 3 week old D'uccle chicks a week ago and one has turned out to be male should i keep it as i plan on breeding them down the road or return it and get a non d'uccle chick

So how many pullets/hens do you have? If you don't have any hens/pullets, then three roos would probably do okay, because there's nothing to compete for. Or if you have plenty of females, then each rooster can have their own little harem. Problems are most likely to happen if there are only a few females and several roosters - and it's as much a problem for the roughly and overly used hens as it is for the competing roos.
