Hey everyone. A little background, I’m new to keeping back yard chickens. The goal is to have 4 hens. In my first attempt I got 4 “Pullets” from a friend of mine and 3 ended up cockerels. I had the opportunity to get 2 other Pullets that ended up cockerels as well. So I just got 3 more Pullets (all siblings). Bringing my total number to 4. I believe 3 of them are actually Pullets this time but I suspect one of them is a cockerel. Can you please help me confirm I’m correct?

How big is that run?
Your set up looks tiny for 4 chickens.

They are all hiding in a corner. I’m also free ranging and building a much larger setup using an old play house. The ad said up to 6-8 chickens but that seems ridiculous.

I am sure they will be okay. At this age/size, they do not need as much space. Be sure to get them a larger setup once they are older though, which seems like you are in the process of already :)
