3wk duck can't walk, nutri drench dose?

3 week pekin duckling, growing faster than others, and can't walk. I know it's probably a niacin deficiency. I wanted to give a direct dose of nutri drench, packaging says 1cc for every 3lbs. How much could a three-week duckling possibly weigh?

Sorry for the delayed response. I actually called the company and they transferred me to a "duck specialist" and he said to just give the duckling a couple drops, and add it to the water once a day. And then you can back off once you start to see improvement. Thanks so much. hopefully this helps, if not, I'm worried it might be a bigger issue :/

And to answer your question, no I didn't weigh him. I don't have a small scale, I guess I need to invest in one? Stupid question-- is there a certain one you would recommend? Or are they all the same?

We just use our reg digital one for us big people I step on get my weight then pick up the duck and get the weight of the animal.

I hope you see improvement fast, I really like ND it's a great product. And works fast since it can be given straight into bill and into blood stream. I also use it during molt for my birds.

Never thought about using my big scale, that makes sense! I'll have to try it during the molt also. Good idea!

Does nutri drench work for a duck that has niacin deficiency ?

No you need some that has a good source of niacin like liquid BComplex.
