Hello!

I have my very first flock of some Barred Rock and two Easter Eggers. I got them from a seasoned breeder who gave me what she thought were all females. I know for sure one of my Barred Rocks is a roo, and I'm almost certain one of the Easter Eggers is as well. We've named him/her Maybe, for it may be a roo or it may be a hen.

Since this is my first flock, though, I thought I'd ask those of you who are more seasoned. I read through the thread about sexing 4-week old easter eggers HERE, but am still unsure.

The chicks hatched March 10 or 11th, making them 5 weeks old by this Saturday.

Thanks for all your help!

Maybe:

This is his/her twin, Sunday.

This is the two of them: Sunday is on the left/top, Maybe on the right/bottom.

Maybe is a cockerel

We figured out Maybe was definitely a rooster, so we had to say goodbye to him. His "sister" Sunday, however, is concerning me. Her comb is really wide - which, according to the research I've done, means rooster. On the other hand, her coloring, shape, stance and demeanor all scream pullet to me, but I'm far from being an expert. She'll be 6 weeks old tomorrow. Any thoughts on whether Sunday is a he or a she?
