I have four 4-5 week old keets. Yesterday at noon they were all doing wonderfully in their chicken tractor. Around 3 I peeked out at them again and saw no problems. Then at 8 in the evening I checked on them again and one of them was lying on the ground not moving. I thought it was dead. :-(
After looking around on the internet I "diagnosed" it with coccidia because it was pulling its head back, feathers ruffled, not eating or drinking, not moving at all, VERY lethargic... so I have been syringe feeding it a corid/water solution since 8 AM today. There hasn't been any blood in the poop that I have seen so far though, although it does have diarrhea... I have it separated from the other keets and they aren't showing any signs of trouble.
Is there anything else I can do? It doesn't seem to be showing any improvement at all yet. :-(
