I went for a variety this time. Any guesses breed and gender?

They're too young to sex. The yellow one is probably an Easter Egger. The black one with a spot on its head is either a Barred Rock, Cuckoo Marans, or male Black Sex-link. The white/black one in front is likely an Australorp. The black chick in back may be a female Black Sex-link.

I chose a variety in hopes that my poor luck with my pullet:cockerel ratio changes. The white one looks a lot like my splash EE mix pullet, except this one has feathers on its feet (yay!). The black one is a guess. I have one black pullet and 4 black cockerels. (Too many!) The barred chick has a larger head spot which usually means male, right? But look at the feathering. It's feathered fast and dark. The smallest peep is an adorable pattern. I have no idea what to guess about this one.

Thepossible parents are: black orpington roo, barred rock roo, EE roo, white layer hens, rir/golden comet hens, black orpington hens, gray orpington hens, barred rock hen, EE hen.
