4 are developing!!!!!!

I candled last night and 4 of my Serama eggs are developing!! I have never incubated light colored eggs before, so it was quite exciting to see the little embryos moving about!!!! They are 8 days along.

I'm keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed that nothing happens in my incubator during the next 2 weeks.

These are supposed to be true Malaysian Serama bred to the standard. I guess I'll find out soon????

I candled I know that 13 are fertile some I am not sure about I am using a hova bator it is really good

I have a Hovabator, too. I would kinda like to build a nice wooden bator and put the turner in it, then use the Hovabator as a hatcher. We'll see how ambitious I am. . .

I was so fascinated with the movement I saw in my Serama eggs the other night, that I candled again!!! I just can't believe the acrobatics of the little embryos!!! We're on day 12 - 9 more days to go......

Oh my gosh, Kristina, 30 out of how many? What breed are they? Were they shipped eggs? What kind of bator are you using? That's a lot of chickies!!!
