4 Black Australorps Gender Yet at 5 wks?

There are 4 from the same brood. One is very underdeveloped compared to the others. I have read everything I can, but still cannot get a decent guess on these guys.

The comb on this one is still dark. Bird 1



This one still has nubs for tail feathers. Bird 2




This is the biggest of the four, but has a fairly red comb and wattles starting. Bird 3

This one also is turning red in the comb and wattles. Bird 4



Bird 3 on left and 4 on right. Any suggestions? I'm afraid these are going to turn out to be all boys! Will I be able to tell on this breed more by the hackle feathers or tails first?

The sex is kind of hard to tell from pics but, it looks like #1 is a little pullet. The other three with the developing combs and coloring, look like little roos.

4 is a cockerel

I think 1,2,3 are pullets....4's a roo. Although my BA's Combs got red early....I compaired the leg size. Thick legs....roo. Still post again in a few weeks

to be sure.

Birds 3 and 4 have similar sized legs. 1 and 2 are smaller overall. I'm hoping there's just one roo in this bunch...4. Though 3 and 4 have feathered out faster, the feathers I'm seeing are all round tipped. These guys all have great personalities. I'm really hoping I have only 1 roo. Thanks for looking!
