4 of my 5 chickens have disappeared. 2 Lavender Orpingtons and 2 Rhode Island Reds.
I found some white outer feathers near the coop and a lot of the fluffy inner feathers scattered across the yard.
I have only seen around 3 feathers in one spot that were brown.
Has anyone had a similar situation or is it more likely that the chickens have been eaten.

If they dissappeared. Probaly eaten by a predator;
Just gone in the morning from night before? dissappear during the day?
Sorry for your loss

When I went out to check on the chickens in the morning I found them missing with feathers everywhere.

without knowing your situation, coop, where live, type predators in your area just a guess. The predators will probably come back for more.
Get game camera will help identify what predator it is. Need to predator proof your coop sounds like.

A fox will grab and run with Chickens or Ducks and come back until he can get almost all of them. You need to know your predators in your area so you will know what you are up against and secure them better if you don't want something to get them. I am so sorry that you lost so many. Predators are so hard on our flocks and sometimes can take them all in a matter of no time at all.
