4 days old and has very bad splay leg. Have her wrapped up in veteran to fix the legs. Or joints. Her eyes are REALLY small. They dont open more than that. It cries continually. I'm keeping her warm in a box on her own or tucked up in my arms and a heating pad, but she will not eat. Shes drinking a little water withhoney and I'm giving poly-vi-sol with no iron. I have fixed lots of babies. But I dont know how to fix this one!

I’ve never seen this so I’m not really sure, I’m mostly commenting to bump up this post so hopefully someone more knowledgeable notices.
From my own expierience goslings cry when they’re cold, hot, hungry, thirsty, or want to be held, they’re very social so they don’t like to be alone.
If it isn’t any of those things I’m clueless why they’re crying.

I’ve heard of birth defects in birds occurring because of incubation issues, something to do with heat or moisture levels but I’m no expert.

We had 1 stargazing chick last year, and this year this poor little thing. All the rest were fine and these were an outside hatch by mom.
Right now, for tgtge first time in days, it isnt crying. I've wrapped a beanie baby flamingo around it , tucked it into some pineshavings with the heat pad over top of tge box, and I'm finally able to put her down.
I am afraid of giving it aspiration pneumonia if I force feed, but afraid shell die if I dont.
It took some very warm water a while ago. Its biting my hand like it wants food, but wont eat anything presented to it or forcibly put in her beak.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.
I'm just trying to brainstorm.

Aww, poor baby. Hugs. I don’t know a thing about geese, I’m guessing you’re giving it grain? If you are and it won’t eat maybe try giving it something soft and wet to eat. Can they eat tuna or yolk or mushy oatmeal? Again, I have no idea, just trying to offer support, and help.
It’s real nice of you to take such good care of it!

Have you tried feeding it out of your hand while holding it? We had one that wouldn’t eat unless it was snuggled up with me and then ate mashed egg yolk out of my hand. Maybe a comfort thing? Poor baby! I hope things turn around!

What feed are you giving? You might try liquid vitamins to boost her energy, also offering watery mash might encourage her to start eating.

“I also have a beanie baby flamingo a few of mine likes to snuggle with while they were little!”

Yes, I've tried that today. But it just has no interest at all. Sleeping alot today. I honestly dont know how it's still alive.
I'm giving it unmedicated chick starter. Got a few polyvisol drops in it.
I tried syringe feeding and I'm afraid I'm going in the lungs. I've made a warm mash and if I put it in its mouth it just shakes its head flinging the mash all over.
Tried some grass, not interested.
I think I should cull it but 5he splsy leg is getting better. uuuggghhhhh
