4 eggs today?

I would never complain but can someone tell me why I have 3 chickens and got 4 eggs today? Zero yesterday? I left at 6:30am and just got home and found 4 eggs in the nest box......????

What time did you check yesterday? Are you sure it can't just be left over?

It happens. World record for eggs laid in one day by a chicken is 7.

It is possible that when I checked the night before it was buried in the hay in the nest box...then when they all went to lay they scratched around and unburied it. I guess
