4-H Chickens

This year i want to show 4-H exibition birds. I already have 8 chickens, but they're just regular ol' yard chickens <3 Does any body know what would be a good breed for a firsttime showwerr?? Id rather a breed that isnt so fluffy because i live in Louisiana and... well its sticky outside. Not a silkie or anything. I was looking at the sebright bantam, but i cant find a breeder..... It would be amayzing if someone knew a good breed with a breeder near by

Check your local 4-H poultry leader they should be able to help. Also a lot of states have rules about the chick and sometimes it has to be born that year that you will be showing it. Good luck!
