Tonight I came across some cochins when i saw they were LF blues and blacks i started reading. Here this person is selling some straight from Jamie Matts. I am really hoping to get them!!

If you want birds from Mr. Matts, why not ask him if he would have a couple for you? Who knows why this seller is selling these birds, perhaps they are not actually from him, or have some disease or condition you dont know about. Buying from someone advertising another person's hard work is just asking for trouble....unless you dont get your hopes up that they'll be anything special.

If you want birds from Mr. Matts, why not ask him if he would have a couple for you? Who knows what this seller is doing with this line, perhaps crossing them with other birds, breeding them down, or something along those lines. They're directly from Jamie. I double checked with the person and they said they were bought from Jamie. And they look like Jamie's line especially that blue!

Right....I reread your post and corrected mine accordingly. They still could be not telling the truth, or have some underlying reason why they are getting rid of them, i.e. disease, worms, etc. Buy them if you want but I am just telling based on my personal experience sometimes offers are too good to be true

I could ask Jamie as he could probably tell me but the person is sending my more pictures so I will be able to tell from those.

All I am saying is I would feel more comfortable getting them from Mr. Matts than this Facebook seller.

I just got the pictures and they look like Jamie's birds. This person sells other fowl and gets good reviews so I think I'll trust that. And they're not to far from me whereas Jamie is on half way across the county this person is only 2 states away

Ah. I didn't see your location. I guess since he is a short drive from me I had it in my head that he was a feasible option.
