We have a Tom and all of a sudden he is panting and running a fever. He was ok yesterday and when we went to close up the pen last night, he could not stand up. One leg wont move and he's trying to use his wings as a crutch. He is not interested in food but is drinking when we put the pan in front of him. He was hatched in February and our fair is in July.

If he lives until after work. I have an appt at 4:00 with vet.
I hope he does live... Based on the poop, I would say that he probably has and infection, histomoniasis or both. Histomoniasis treatment per the AAAP Avian Disease manual is metronidazole 30mg/kg by mouth for five days. An infection would require a different like Clavamox or Baytril. While you're at the vet, have them show you how to tube feed and give sub-q fluids, you may find it useful someday.
