4 hens and a rooster

Hello! I'm new here. I have 5 chickens and this morning I heard our newest addition (a rescue chicken) trying to crow. We thought he was a hen but I guess not. He is about 5 months old. I'm hoping he turns out to be a confused female but I'm not holding my breath. Anyway, I love this website and I look forward to interacting with all of you!

Hi and welcome - don't hold your breath, the confused female/crowing hen thing is not nearly as common as some think or would lead you to believe.
