I have some "heritage mutt" eggs available. They are some random percentage of American Blue/Cotton Patch mix. I honestly have no idea what will hatch out. They are mostly just for fun! The picture is the dam. If I had to guess at what to expect, I'd say:

Medium-sized
Lay between 15-25 eggs/yr
Good table bird & excellent grazers/weeders
Sex-linked: slate grey females, white or at least light-colored males

I put $15 as the shipping cost, but that's just an average. I doubt it will cost nearly that much. Not looking to get rich off this offer, just really want someone to hatch them to see what comes out

(So I might consider trades- whatcha got?)

Happy Hatching!

Well, both of the parents are heritage breeds, making the eggs heritage, just not purebred. Is anyone interested? If not, they will go in the trash. I'm willing to consider any private offers.

It is very tempting, but I have to consider resale value

Around here, day-old goslings sell for maybe $8 each. Mix-breed day-olds would not even bring that. I wouldn't keep mixes, I'm trying to stick with one breed so I don't have mixes myself (since pures sell better)...though I still have to catch that darned toulouse gander!

So for $30, I'd have to get 6 eggs and get everyone to hatch...impossible. Plus I'd need at least another $15 in my paypal

Can't you set them? Please don't toss them in the trash

I would love to have them but I just filled my incubator yesterday! Will you have them available in the future? If so, PM me!!
