4 legged chick Clover

Wow... how is she doing??? So she has two dragging extra feet, kinda in the middle but further back of her two actual working legs? Then the left leg looked like it was struggling and behind in a pic...? 😬 awww poor Baby. It looked like the left leg was spraddle and that poor right leg was dragging all these extra things- along with a weak left leg... how is she? Any picture updates ? I really want a closer look lol
that was a lot to follow and i don’t understand some of it but she’s fine, she doesn’t have spraddle and those back legs are immobile. her vent is a little weird but it gets the job done lol šŸ˜‚

I would love to hold her right now. Our 10 birds including a cock and roo plus eight girls will not let us touch them. My seniors will. The 7 month olds mama taught them to be afraid of us.

Hope everything goes as planed for you. I could not do what others suggest.

He had to do this once. She was a bad hen and we found out years later when you have a bad one you're suppose to get rid of it and we didn't so we lost four Australorp girls years ago. That was a sad year for us. Keep us posted.

:gigThat's all that matters!

Would be very cool to see some video of her walking.
Just a thought, not a demand.

awww i’m sorry. My girls kind a run to but if you hold out your hand like a boat they climb in. unfortunately because I have to treat clover so often and check on her she doesn’t like to be held ā˜¹ļø

Thank you. I will if I get the chance. the veterinarian said there is nothing to worry about.
I think if she is eating, drinking and pooping fine, removal of legs may be just to help her get around better- as she grows they probably will too. The only issue she should have going forward then is egg laying- that may be a big hurdle, but bless you and Clover, time will tell.
