I assume the vet doing the amputation would tell them if the chick is likely to have many more issues or to be in pain later on.

I’m so sorry you feel that way. I only “attacked” because that person obviously hadn’t read through the whole thread and didn’t know what they were talking about

The majority of folks here are trying to help you. They are kind and they care. There are always a few rude, obnoxious, 'bad apples' out there, but IMO it was a big turn-off and completely unnecessary for you to name call and lower yourself to their level and to getting into a war of words like this.

I totally understand as I've read the entire thread myself...I just feel there are better ways to express one's self without the name calling. I don't usually reply to such comments, but this kind of rubbed me wrong. We're all here to learn from other's and follow along during certain experiences like this one, so we should be kinder to each other and be mindful of other's feelings.
Just saying...I don't want to offend anyone or be offended. Words/names can hurt.
