4 legs!

This baby hatched with 4 legs. The two extra in the back are not functional. Also seems to have splayed leg. I’ve made a hobble with a band aid and hoping for the best. I’ve been dipping her beak every hour and she’s drinking enthusiastically, not interested in food yet. I’m exhausted, like I have a newborn baby, l. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Poor thing. She's got a parasitic twin. What you see externally is likely just some of her defects. She probably has some internal defects as well.

Did you set eggs from a newly laying pullet? Did you candle them to see if there were two yolks?
